The state of Washington requires WMFHA to maintain a certification form related to all WMFHA PAC contributions. This is a new law as of June 11, 2020.  

All candidates seeking elective office and political committees (the WMFHA PAC) are required to collect a statement (known as a “certification”) for any contribution made by non-individual entities (businesses, associations, organizations, unions, etc.) confirming that:

1. The non-individual entity is not organized under the laws of or headquartered in a foreign country, and the contribution is not financed in any part by a foreign national, and

2. foreign nationals are not involved in making decisions regarding the contribution in any way.
