Welcome to the Team, Kelly!

We are proud to announce our newest WMFHA team member - Kelly Wakefield! 

Kelly is our new Director of Marketing and Communications and we are pleased to have her on board. She is responsible for enhancing our marketing and member communications, designing and producing marketing campaigns, managing social media and website, and promoting WMFHA programs and events. Hitting the ground running, Kelly is already working on website updates, communications strategies, social media platforms and everything that comes her way.

A multifamily newbie, Kelly comes to our team with a strong non-profit background. She has done everything from program management at Pacific Science Center, to communications and development at The Lighthouse for the Blind, and most recently, operations and marketing at Technology Access Foundation. Also a freelance journalist, Kelly enjoys storytelling and communications in all forms.

Kelly graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in International Studies and a minor in Spanish. She is a Washington native and spent her childhood in rural towns around Okanogan County and in Port Townsend.
