Awful Unlawful Detainer, the Process in King County

A group of multi-family and commercial property managers, developers, owners, real estate agents, association staff and other stakeholders recently met to discuss the challenges of rental housing and policies in City of Seattle and the awful unlawful detainer process in the King County court system. Intending to spread awareness of the obstacles we all face and to develop a path forward, the group felt there needs to be a more public conversation of the struggles many owners and managers are facing due to the broken system.

Stakeholders will work to raise public awareness of the emerging crisis in rental housing and advocate with the city and state to reform the laws and processes that are causing the problem.
