WMFHA Government Affairs Committee Seeks Eastern Washington Representative

On the recommendation of the Government Affairs Committee (GAC) the WMFA Board of Directors (BOD) recently created a permanent position for an Eastern Washington Representative on the GAC. Although the committee doesn’t have designated seats, generally, the GAC and BOD felt it was important to guarantee regional presentation. Over time, the committee will also consider recommendations for other regionally designated seats but are only looking for Eastern Washington representation at this time, although this does not preclude any member in good standing from seeking a voting position on the committee.
