In this session, participants will learn: 

• When and how to identify suitable candidates for promotion
• The necessary skills that it takes for someone to be ready for promotion
• The importance of developing those skills BEFORE a promotion 
• How to continue development after promotion.

If you ask someone in property management about their career path, you likely won’t hear that they had a formal education or specialized training before working in it. It’s an industry that typically brings in people at entry-level positions and provides them on-the-job training and advancement. Unfortunately, that advancement can sometimes happen prematurely. Like in sports, when a player comes off the bench too soon after injury, they are not able to play their best game. But, if you build your bench of team members strategically, you can create big wins and long-term success.
