WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING SPEAKER PROPOSALS
Thank you for your interest in speaking at EdCon 2025, the premier multifamily education conference and tradeshow in the Pacific Northwest.
Please read all of the information carefully before clicking on the link to submit your proposal.
- Who can submit?
- We welcome submissions from professional speakers as well as industry and subject matter experts. Our supplier partners may also submit proposals, but the presentation cannot include any sales pitch or endorsement of their goods or services.
- What should be included in the submission?
- Proposed Title
- Brief synopsis of the class
- 3 learning objectives
- Target audience for the class
- Names and contact information for any co-speakers (if applicable)
- Head shot
- Bio
- How long is each session?
- You MUST provide at least 50 minutes of content and may allow for 10 minutes of Q&A. Each class is worth 1 continuing education credit for our National Apartment Association credential holders and must be at least 50 minutes long to qualify.
- Can I submit multiple sessions?
- Yes. Each speaker may submit up to 3 sessions.
- Who reviews the proposals and approves the final selections?
- Each proposal will be reviewed by the 2025 EdCon and Career Development Committees and WMFHA staff.
- What is the timeline for submission and notification of acceptance?
- The submission portal will be open from August 21-September 30, 2024
- The review process will begin in early October and notifications will be made the 2nd week of November.
- What will next steps be if my proposal is accepted?
- Each speaker receives a complimentary entry to attend the entire conference and tradeshow
- You will be expected to upload your slide deck and any supporting documents into your speaker portal NO LATER than February 27, 2025
- Speakers must cite their sources for any statistics they use in their presentation and are responsible to ensure they are timely and are from reputable sources.
- Each speaker will receive an "I'm Speaking" Graphic image and will be ask to share on their social channels to help promote the event
