Corks, Forks & Brews

WMFHA's Corks, Forks and Brews is a signature Eastern Washington networking event that brings together the rental housing industry and invited guests for mingling, bites, and drinks. In 2019 we celebrated the event's fifth anniversary by adding a charitable giving component. All raffle and auction proceeds from the event supported the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery. This event is hosted at a beautiful venue with a great atmospheric setting.

Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery provides immediate refuge for children and support to strengthen families. This evolved from the tragic story of Vanessa Kay Behan, a Spokane girl who died from child abuse injuries at the age of two. Their services include:

• 24-hour child care for infants and children under the age of seven
• Parent education
• Crisis counseling for parents
• Referrals to other community agencies
