Special Announcement!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - WMFHA ANNOUNCES GRAND AWARDS GALA!
Seattle, Washington--January 13, 2010. The Washington Multi-Family Housing Association (WMFHA), a local affiliate of the National Apartment Association, is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new, industry wide Awards Gala in 2011. This show, as yet unnamed, will recognize the efforts of on-site staff and management professionals within the property management industry, and will bring Seattle more in line with the Award shows that are held annually in other large metropolitan cities around the country.
For the past 25 years, For Rent Magazine has hosted the local apartment awards event here in Western Washington. However, they recently announced the decision to discontinue their show and hand over the “award torch” to WMFHA. While entrusting the apartment association with the future of this event, For Rent Magazine will continue working closely with WMFHA in the planning and development of the show, the end goal of which is to produce a statewide “signature” event for the entire industry.
The Awards event is scheduled for the evening of January 20, 2011 at the SeaTac Hilton, Emerald Ballroom. More information will be coming in the near future, including details about an exciting contest to name the event. For further inquiries regarding this release, please contact Debbie McPherson, Executive Director of WMFHA at 425.656.9077 or via email at debbie@wmfha.org.
